Meadowlark Updates
2021 and the move to the Meadowlark is quickly approaching! Families will be moving into the Meadowlark as early as this spring, thank you all for making this a reality in Missoula! Drive by to see how close we are to completion. Siding is now mostly complete, solar panels will be installed soon and the parking lot is being paved. Learn more about the project and see construction progress photos at SeeThemHome.org
Housing Advocate Network
Housing Advocates are working with many people in our community, including:
Families experiencing homelessness- at Family Promise, the YWCA’s emergency housing program, or on a waiting list for one or more community programs.
Individuals who are impacted by the criminal justice system
Transitional Age Youth (18-24) who are experiencing homelessness.
Are you interested in becoming an advocate, or have questions?
One of our Housing Advocates supported a family (family of 6) and they got into housing right before the holidays! The family is in need of a few items, please reach out to Zeke, zeke@micmt.org, if you can help us. Looking for: kitchen hand towels, pots/pans, silverware, queen bed frame (we already located a box spring and mattress), queen sheet set and comforter. The kids are getting beds, but we are unsure of the sheet size at this point- hoping twin and toddler beds, they will need sheets and blankets.
Thanks for all your support!
