Family Promise
Family Promise continues to be a busy place as the program prepares to move into Missoula’s Family Housing Center. The opening of the Family Housing Center is quickly approaching, planned for this May! More to come on upcoming spring events. MIC at Missoula’s Family Housing Center
Missoula’s Family Housing Center, co-operated by Family Promise and the YWCA Missoula, located at the Meadowlark will be open to serve the community this spring! If you are interested in volunteering with MIC (with Family Promise, the Housing Advocate Network, and Missoula Works) at the Family Housing Center, please join us to learn more. We have two times available: April 13th at 7pm or April 21st at 7pm. Any question and to register, please reach out to us at mic@micmt.org.
Check out this new Community Organizing podcast out of North Carolina. The podcast focuses on the organizing model that MIC participates in and may answer some questions, give some clarity, and spark an imagination for what is possible. If you have any particular questions about organizing, or want to get involved more, please reach out to us, we would love to hear from you.
Proceeds from Missoula Gives will be used to support the Housing Advocate Network (HAN), including funds for gas cards, rental applications, and other program expenses. More to come soon!
MIC Calendar
We are happy to announce that MIC has a community calendar on our website. The calendar will include MIC events, MIC partner events, as well as community events that MIC and our partners are involved in. Stock Gift Donation
We are trying to create multiple ways for donors to support the work of MIC. For some, a stock gift is the quickest and easiest way to support our work.
