Is Family Promise Right for You?
Any family with at least one minor child under the age of 18 can apply. Both one-parent and two-parent families are considered. Adults must sign a contract agreeing to active case management and be willing and able to work.
Are there any exceptions?
Family Promise Missoula is unable to accept anyone with:
- an active substance abuse problem
- a serious untreated mental illness
- risk of violence or sexual offenses
School-aged children must be enrolled in school and preschool-aged children in day care so that parents may work or seek employment.
Family Promise of Missoula does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, gender, sexual or romantic orientation, political affiliation, or religion. Although we are a faith-based program, we believe in putting our faith into action, not words. Proselytizing is strictly forbidden and guests need not attend any religious activities to receive services.
